A Rainy Day Trip to Snoqualmie Falls

Apparently it’s one of Washington state’s “most visited scenic attractions” and so a couple of weekends back, we decided to head out on a day trip to Snoqualmie Falls.

Here’s a video I made, as I don’t think the photos really do it justice.

The Falls are 82 metres high and gush down into the Snoqualmie River, which is a cool sight in itself.

Here’s a video of the river flowing fast!

The waterfall and river also play a fairly significant part in Native American Indian and culture, as well as the history of Washington. You can read more about that here.

I read on good old Wikipedia that the Falls were also featured regularly on Twin Peaks, though I’ve never watched an episode of that show ever.

Moby had lots of fun too…

Though we didn’t see any Sasquatches … !

All in all, another successful rainy day trip!
