Mmm… Our First Visit to the Cheesecake Factory!

You might know it as the place where Penny works on The Big Bang Theory. And it’s a Seattle winner.

We ate at the Cheesecake Factory last night, in Downtown, and it was fab!

To start with, we had the mini corn dogs. Super yum! Though possibly not as good as the ones at Lunchbox Lab.

I had the Eggplant Parmesan, which was slightly different than what I thought it would be (I was expecting more of a lasagne-style thing). It doesn’t look like much, but it was pretty tasty. Though the pasta left a lot to be desired. 

Esh had the Mac n’ Cheese Burger, which was pretty fresh and delicious – and filling! The sweet potato chips were also awesome.

And for dessert – White Chocolate Raspberry Truffle Cheesecake! OMG. Yes, I just wrote OMG. Because this is probably the best cake I’ve ever tasted.

I guess the 30-min Jillian Michaels workout I did earlier that day was completely cancelled out. But oh well. Life is short.

Of course, the service there was excellent. And the decor of the place was impressive too.

The drink selection was decent (I had a white wine, Esh had a beer) and there’s also a “Skinnylicious” menu if you’re on a diet.

I’ve decided in my supreme bogan-ness this is probably now my favourite eatery in Seattle. Though I am probably still on a cheesecake high. Needless to say, we’ll be going back soon!
